I’m just going to say it: I’m addicted to candles.
I know. I know. I know. It’s a big deal, right? That’s why we’ve been creating Project 62 candle projects. It’s a candle project that’s a little bit different from the usual “lit candles” we’ve done before. Next, you will want to find a way to attach something to the bottom of each bottle. This is a simple thing, but it will make the candles easier to make and easier to hold when you are starting off.

The first thing you will need to do though, is take all the plastic off the bottom of the bottles and then attach the other ends of each bottle to a metal stand. I got the idea for this candle after I was in the middle of writing my thesis on the subject (this is not the candle recipe!) and I thought it would be nice to make the candle lighter by cutting in half and using only one end for the candle. I have yet to try it but it looks like it will be a great, cheap way to light candles in the future.
